to both police and security entities, Dr. Pastor has developed
a public safety legal niche. He provides presentations and training

These topics include: Food Defense, Gun Laws, Security Contracts, Security Law & Methods, Premises Liability, Security Training, and other similar topics that combine security methods and legal principles.

Public-Private Policing
As an author who has developed cutting edge
analysis of contemporary policing, Dr. Pastor has the credentials,
experiences and ability to articulate the increasing interrelationship
between police and private security.
He was an early advocate of public-private policing, long before the current fiscal and organizational constraints have created a closer look at how police and security could, or should, combine to foster public safety. The significance of these
relationships will form the basis for a new policing model, known as Public Safety Policing.

Terrorism, Security & Policing
As a former gang crimes tactical police officer,
security consultant, and a professor in public safety, Dr. Pastor
provides a unique perspective with cutting edge and dynamic
programs to public safety and general interest audiences.
His message and his presentation style are both dynamic and interactive. He is one of the country's authorities on terrorism, particularly in its impact policing and the security industry.
