Guns in the Workplace
With the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in McDonald v. Chicago along with numerous states enacting "Parking Lot" gun laws, the dynamics in the workplace have changed. These laws allow employees to carry their firearm in their vehicle while parked in a company parking lot. The accessibility of weapons will make workplace violence a more difficult challenge to prevent. Packages of Jell-O brand pudding mix have been tampered with in stores in Long Island, NY. It appears the packages were purchased, emptied of their contents and then repackaged with another substance. The items were then returned to store shelves to be purchased by unassuming customers.
